The Harangal Story:

Founded in 1996 by retired Indian Air Force Sqn. Ldr. M.K. Chengapa and now managed by his son M.C. Kariappa, Harangal Estate is part of the Kaad Kaapi collective—eight producers committed to quality-focused farming and environmental conservation. The estate's diverse ecosystem includes indigenous trees and wildlife that contribute unique character to the coffee.

Processing Excellence:

Selective hand-harvesting ensures only ripe cherries are picked. After pulping, beans ferment for 18 hours in fresh water, followed by mechanical washing. A careful 10-day drying process on shaded yards keeps temperatures under 40°C for optimal quality.

Roast & Brewing:

We roast this coffee light and bright to highlight its floral intensity and sweetness. Perfect for filter brewing, though coffee enthusiasts will also enjoy pulling deliciously sweet modern espresso shots.
